Meet Doug Braden!

Douglas Braden currently works as a licensed loan originator in Colorado. Doug has worked as an owner and manager of mortgage companies over his career, he became a Colorado Certified Mortgage Broker in 2006, and was voted Broker of the Year by his peers in the mortgage Association of Colorado in 2007 and Mortgage Professional of the year in 2016 and 2019. He is a veteran of the mortgage industry and is an FHA/VA, USDA, CHFA and Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac lender, with over 38 years of Mortgage Broker/Banker origination experience. Mr. Braden is also certified by NAMB as a Veterans loan specialist. Mr. Braden served on the CAMB/CoAMP board of directors from 2005-2009 and again from 2018 – 2022. A Past President he also remains a member of the Government Affairs Committee. Doug has been a Colorado delegate of the parent association of CAMB the National Association of Mortgage Brokers and currently serves on their Government Affairs Committee, travels to Washington DC and works with lawmakers here in Colorado to support Mortgage Originators and business owners in the industry. Mr. Braden was appointed by the Colorado Division of Real Estate to serve on the Rule Making Task Force for 2009-2010 and the Mortgage Task Force for 2011-2013. Doug also regularly makes the trip to Washington DC NAMB Legislative conference on behalf of the mortgage industry and consumers, to insure that safe affordable mortgage products can play their part in the American dream of homeownership.
