Teresa Taylor

Teresa has been in the mortgage industry since 1998.  She began processing and originating mortgage loans after working for 2 real estate companies in Greenville, NC. In 2009, she stepped out of her comfort zone and pursued her childhood dream of becoming a 7^th grade math teacher.  After 3 years in the classroom, she was called back into the business as a loan processor.  She absolutely loves what she does, by connecting with clients, realtors and other business professionals that build lasting relationships.  At the end of the day, her joy comes from journeying through the homebuying process with first time homebuyers such as single mothers or fathers, and families who are ecstatic to know, that they too can become homeowners. A 1981 graduate of JH Rose High School, 2007 graduate of East Carolina University and 2019 graduate of the illustrious NC A & T State University, Teresa is blessed with one phenomenal daughter, Nikkiya, an awesome son in law, Rico and two amazing teenage granddaughters, Kyndal and Skylar, whom she lovingly calls her butterflies.  She enjoys movies, facilitating a girls’ mentoring program at her church, known as Girls N Pearls, travelling and being surrounded with family and people who give off good vibes.
